How billing works — no ambiguity

Two separate things you pay for. They never overlap.

1 · Your subscription

Buys platform access — the modules, the databases, the engine, your seats. Your tier decides what you can do. That's the monthly or annual fee above.

2 · AI generation

Heavy deliverables require your own key. Build Monograph, Tech Transfer, CTD, and Design Lab always run on your Grok (xAI) API key — your usage, your provider bill, no platform markup. Paste the key once in Settings; it is encrypted server-side.

Light queries are included. Chat and Intelligence draw from your daily query allowance by tier (Free 5 · Basic 15 · Pro 50 · Enterprise 100). When you hit the daily cap, wait for the midnight America/New_York reset or upgrade.
